Heights Arts Show ‘Living Room’ Opens Friday

The Cleveland Heights gallery will showcase furniture and other objects from Northeast Ohio artists.

will showcase desks, shelves, coffee tables and other furniture and objects created by Northeast Ohio artists starting this weekend.

The show Living Room will feature the work of eight contemporary furniture designers who use wood, steel, glass, found and recycled objects and other materials to create their unique pieces.

Some furniture makers adhere to sharp, clean and sleek designs while others produce wild, colorful and curvaceous creations.

“Until now the only chance to see a collection like this has been the annual weekend F*Sho, (a Cleveland contemporary furniture show),” wrote Heights Arts in a press release about the new exhibit. “Thanks to PJ Doran and Ted Ferringer for helping us assemble this stimulating and imaginative collection of artists.”

The gallery will host an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 27 and the show runs through Sept. 1.
