New Heights Arts Show Opens Tonight

Heights Arts will host an opening reception tonight for the new David Mull + Martha Cliffel show

For the next five weeks, Heights Arts will display the work of two artists with no shortage of impressive work despite having no formal training.

The David Mull and Martha Cliffel show kicks off tonight with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Heights Arts Gallery on Lee Road. The organization describes the work of both artists as rich with "obsessive detail."

"Mull’s detailed, imaginative ink and graphite drawings are made on found paper, rocks, and other objects," according to the Heights Arts website. "Cliffel’s colorful assemblages, sometimes political and sometimes whimsical, are made from found objects.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Wednesday; from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; and 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
