Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Festival Starts Thursday

The annual four-day celebration features authentic Greek food, music and more.

is hosting its 55th annual Greek Festival starting Thursday, Aug. 23.

The four-day celebration at the Cleveland Heights Greek Orthodox cathedral will feature authentic Greek fare such as pastitsio, moussaka, spanakopita, baklava and gyros.

Entertainment will also be provided throughout the festival and will include music from Greek bands such as Orion Express and Stigma, and traditional Greek dances from the Hellenic Dancers.

Vendors will also sell Greek jewelry, art and more, and people can also shop at a flea market in the lower level of the church.

In addition to food and entertainment, the festival will offer free cooking classes and activities for kids like bounce houses and face painting.

Free parking is available at the church and a shuttle will transport people from additional parking at Severance Town Center to the church on Mayfield Road. Admission is also free.

The Greek Festival's hours are  4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. For a specific schedule and more information, visit the Sts. Constantine & Helen festival website.
