Lachlan MacKinnon of the Chargers Street Gang remembers his first concert at The Grog Shop.

He was 17-years-old, and he went to see the Revelers and Drill Kitty on a Thursday night.

"It opened my eyes up to all of these local bands," MacKinnon said. A few years later, he became part of a well-known local band himself.

MacKinnon and the other members of the Chargers Street Gang reformed Friday night to play in one of the Grog Shop's anniversary shows, which run through the end of the month.
