Bites Nearby: Mama Santa’s

Serving up low-priced Italian goodness since 1961

For half a century, Mama Santa’s on Mayfield Road in Little Italy has been meeting people’s pizza needs, as well as satisfying cravings for other affordable Italian dishes.

Named after the mother of Nancy Scaffidi, the woman who started the restaurant with her husband Guido in 1961, Mama Santa’s has occupied the same space in this bustling area studded with restaurants and art galleries.

Featuring homemade Sicilian preparations, Mama Santa’s offers an ample variety of veal and chicken entrees, along with pasta highlighted by homemade noodles.
