Bites Nearby: pizzaBOGO

Gourmet pizza at prices ranging from reasonable to downright cheap

— What does it take to fall in love with a pizza place? Let us count the ways pizzaBOGO is winning hearts all over the Heights.

To start with, as the name states, you get a free pizza with each one you purchase.  Add to that a flat pricing structure — the pies are priced by size and you get unlimited toppings.

Speaking of toppings, there are more than 35 in all, which you can pile on individually. In addition to the expected ingredients there are many unique items such as sirloin steak tips, asparagus, Chow Mein noodles, and fresh mango.

Or you can choose one of their “World Pizzas” such as the Napa Valley, Tuscan Fiorentina or Morocco — and 10 more special “culinaire” international offerings.

Located on Cedar Road just west of South Taylor, pizzaBOGO is not a sit-down restaurant, just a pick-up counter with a smallish waiting area. But the ambience is enhanced with jazz on the speakers and a perky orange and yellow color palette.
