BottleHouse Brewery On Tap Tuesday

The much anticipated DIY brewery will open on Lee Road this week, but customers will have to wait until July to "brew on premise."

After much anticipation, The BottleHouse Brewery will open its doors Tuesday.

Owners Brian Benchek and Dave Schubert originally planned to brewery last spring, but ran into some road blocks while .

The pair then rescheduled the opening for spring 2012, and they're right on time.

The Lee Road establishment will first unveil its tasting room Tuesday, which will feature a variety of craft beers, and roll out the "brew on premise" in July. Customers will soon be able to schedule dates to make their own beer, which will cost $100 to $150, according to the BottleHouse website.

The new business will also feature live music. The Afro Cleveland Orchestra will kick off the brewery's opening, and more bands and performers are scheduled this weekend.
