As sole proprietor of Flour Girl, an appointment-only custom bakery, Bridget Cavanaugh Thibeault was seeking a way to expand her business into a storefront. And after speaking with Tatyana Rehn and John Emerman, owners of The Stone Oven, the idea of Luna developed.

As Thibeault explains, “I have lived and worked in both New York City and Chicago, and I wanted to bring that kind of contemporary, made-from-scratch pastry sensibility to my hometown. And this partnership seemed to offer the perfect opportunity.”
While the emphasis at Luna will be on Thibeault’s gorgeous bakery concoctions, Luna will also offer breakfast items plus lunch and light dinner dishes such as grilled paninis and savory crepes. “We aren’t going to try to duplicate the wonderful soups and sandwiches that Stone Oven offers,” says Thibeault. “Luna will have its own distinctive identity.”

In addition to take-out orders, there will be indoor seating for about 24, and about five tables out front during the warm months.
