Video: Zagara's Marketplace Celebrates 75 Years

The family owned grocery store on Lee Road is holding anniversary events today

Zagara's Marketplace on Lee Road is celebrating its 75th anniversary today with several events throughout the afternoon.

Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley, Council Member Dennis Wilcox and Community Services Director Susanna Niermann O'Neil stopped by to congratulate John Zagara, whose family has owned the grocery store since 1936.

Kelley gave Zagara a proclamation, which Zagara proudly mounted on a wall near the entrance immediately after the presentation.
