Revive Anniversary Event and New Line Debut

Revive, Northeast Ohio's first fair trade clothing boutique, celebrates their seven-year anniversary on Saturday, October 19, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Revive will be debuting their offering of the Nisolo Shoe line.  In addition to gifts with purchase, patrons will be entered into drawings for the chance to win free merchandise.

Revive founder, Lisa Dunn, says "We are really proud to be celebrating seven years of offering hand crafted, socially responsible collections at our Cleveland Heights store. This has been a labor of love and we are successful thanks to our loyal customers and the support from the community."

In conjunction with celebrating Revive's 7th birthday will be their debut of a new line, Nisolo Shoes, offering high quality leather shoes handcrafted in Peru. Revive will be the first retailer in Ohio to carry the Nisolo line.

After spending an extended amount of time in Northern Peru, Nisolo's founders noticed how tragically impoverished the local families were and how much they needed assistance to market their product. They felt that the source of poverty in that area was from lack of consistent jobs. The Nisolo team realized there were more than 3,000 small-scale shoemakers who struggling to make a living, despite the beauty and quality of their products. Nisolo's aim is to redefine what success means for the people of Northern Peru. They achieve this by helping artisans and their families share their extraordinary craftsmanship with the global market.

Referring to the artisans' work, Nisolo states: "As we grow, they will grow. As they grow, their communities will grow. As these communities grow, our world will change for the better."
