Animal Control in CH for Wealthy Only!
According to a statement made by Mayor Ed Kelley to me at the last city council meeting, the only way citizens in Cleveland Heights can address issues with the influx of gophers, oppossums, raccoons, skunks, and even badgers is to pay for it themselves.
It seems the Mayor is still peeved by CH voters rejecting the notion of handing over more of our money when city council wanted to raise the income tax level to 2%. It was when we voted that measure down, that, according to Kelley, the warden position was eliminated.
So what services, that the city's promotional hype claims it provides, do we actually receive for our tax dolloars?
