5 Things You Need to Know About Cleveland Heights This Week

Business expo, Noble library reopening celebration and more

1. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District is hosting a public meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Heights High Social Room to get residents’ feedback on the findings from the community facilities meeting April 27. Parents, city council members, teachers, administrators and others comprised subcommittees that reviewed the school district's buildings and provided recommendations to improve the structures. More from that meeting will be posted on Cleveland Heights Patch this week. 

2. The 17th annual Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) Business Expo will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at 700 BETA Banquet & Conference Center. Nearly 100 business professionals, community organizations, civic leaders, artists and more will exhibit. Admission is free — just bring a business card. 

3. Rep. Marcia L. Fudge will discuss current issues and take questions at a at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

4. The 11th annual , sponsored by the Heights Community Congress, will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lee Road Library

5. After being closed for construction for seven months, the . Heights libraries will celebrate the new space with a party for Heights residents from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
