Heights Libraries Accepting Submissions for Photography Contest

The CH-UH Public Library will accept work for its 5th Annual Photography Contest, "Public Places, Sacred Spaces," through Oct. 8

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights began accepting submissions for its 5th annual photography contest, "Public Spaces, Sacred Spaces," on Sept. 10.

Photos entered in the contest, sponsored by Cedar Center MOTOPHOTO, are meant to "depict the places and spaces that give meaning to your lives," such as parks, places of worship, streetscapes, homes and more, according to a description page on the Heights Libraries website.

The library will accept work at all four branches until Oct. 8.

"Beginning Oct. 29, The finalists' work will be displayed as a traveling exhibition at each branch so that the public can vote for their favorites," according to the library. The library will announce the winner Dec. 10.
