More than 300 Cleveland Heights Residents Participate in Cleveland Marathon Events

About 320 people from Cleveland Heights ran or walked one of the races offered at the Cleveland Marathon

More than 300 Cleveland Heights residents participated in one of the handful of races offered this weekend at the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K. 

The number includes people who ran or walked one of the marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K events offered during the weekend. This year, 18,269 participated in the races, a record in the Cleveland Marathon's 34-year history, according to its website

Out of the about 320 participants from Cleveland Heights, 50 ran the marathon, a 26.2-mile course. The youngest runner from the city is 19, the oldest 65, according to the marathon results page.

To see the full results from the races, including name and time to complete the race, visit the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon's results page, select either "5K" or "Searchable All Sunday Races." To search by Cleveland Heights, enter both "Cleveland Height" and "Cleveland Hts" in separate searches, as "Cleveland Heights" is too long and returns no results.
