According to the NWS Cleveland website, "This is a dangerous storm. Seek shelter inside now and stay away from windows."

Thank goodness the sun came out this weekend, because it appears Clevelanders are in for another bout of rain and cloudy skies this week.

Storms, some severe, are expected to hit Northeast Ohio throughout the week. The downpours could also cause flooding in some areas.

The National Weather Service’s Cleveland office predicts severe thunderstorms after 4 p.m. today and Tuesday, and the high is expected to drop from about 80 degrees today down to the low 60s Tuesday. Between a quarter- and a half-inch of rain is possible tonight, according to the National Weather Service’s Cleveland office.

The chance for thunderstorms drops to 30 percent Wednesday during the day, and most likely the sun will come out again, but the National Weather Service predicts that thunderstorms will come back Wednesday night or Thursday. The skies will most likely remain cloudy through Sunday.
