13th Annual Family Fishing Day

Get "hooked" on fishing and celebrate clean water and healthy communities with our 13th Annual Family Fishing Day! Family members of all ages will learn how to cast, tie knots and fish for bluegill, bass, catfish (and prizes) in the specially stocked lagoon with provided bait and tackle.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to handle and identify native Ohio fish, look at local aquatic life under a microscope, make a fish “print,” win a free rain barrel, participate in a mini stream clean-up and enjoy a free lunch. The day hosts a fun way to learn the importance of clean water to our lives and local economy. Free t-shirts and fishing gear to the first 300 kids, free lunch and free FUN! For more information and to register contact Ann Gilmore at gilmore@doanbrookpartnership.org or call 216-325-7781.
