Cleveland Play House's Script Club is everything you love about a book club - but with a play in the spotlight! Check out a copy of the script from the library and read it at home. Then join CPH Artistic Staff at the library for a free-flowing exploration of the story and how CPH artists take a play from page to stage. ABOUT VENUS IN FUR - When mysterious actress Vanda arrives hours late to an audition, the traditional power dynamic shifts as director Thomas tries to play with fire and not get singed. Read the script then join Cleveland Play House artistic staff to explore this “seriously smart and very funny […] suspense-packed study of the erotics of power.” Note: This play contains mature language and themes. Registration begins on 10/7 (patrons can pick up a script to check out at Lee Road in ASD).
