Paper Creations at Lake Erie Ink

Lake Erie Ink: a writing
space for youth changes things up this month with a hands-on weekend workshop
designed for writers and artists of all ages. Join Ellen Strong of Strong
Bindery on Saturday, December 14th when, rather than hold a writing
workshop, attendees will create books suitable to hold a poem or serve as a
unique holiday gift. All materials are provided, and the event is free for
registered Lake Erie Ink participants and just $5 for all others. This month,
LEI’s workshop is happening in conjunction with the Coventry Village Holiday
Festival with events taking place all over the neighborhood. Strong’s business,
Strong Bindery, operates out of beloved East side locale, Loganberry Books, and
focuses primarily in restoring and repairing old books.  Strong will be at Lake Erie Ink (2843
Washington Blvd. Cleveland Heights) from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This program is supported in part by the
residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts
& Culture. For more information or to register, check out www.lakeerieink.org or call 216-320-4757.
