Red Cross Blood Drive

During the summer “trauma season,” it is exceptionally difficult to connect with people who have busy summer schedules and are less likely to donate. Cedar Point has stepped up during this period to help give a little extra incentive to potential donors. By providing free entry passes, discounts, and coupons on entry to the theme park, Cedar Point allows us to offer a fun thank you gift at select blood drives for those who make the time to give blood in the summer. These incentives also help us connect with a key audience, young blood donors, who we usually lose during the summer months while schools are not in session. Cedar Point has not only assisted the Central Ohio Region, but the entire Ohio-Michigan Division, by providing these thank you gifts to those who donate blood at select blood drives. Their support as a community partner has helped us be prepared for the summer trauma season with a strong blood supply.
