Two-session nature photography hike & workshop will explore Doan Brook Gorge

Northeast Ohio residents will be able to explore one of the east side's natural treasures -- the Doan Brook Gorge -- with camera in hand during session 1 of a two-part nature photography workshop with Cleveland Heights photographer David Perelman-Hall on Saturday, October 12 from 9am - 12pm.

Starting by the western edge of Lower Shaker Lake, participants will walk to three pristine sections of the gorge, learn technical and compositional tips on how to create stunning landscapes or close-up images, and explore what makes certain sections of the Doan Brook so photogenic. Terrain is steep in places, so sturdy footwear is recommended.

In session 2 on Wednesday, October 16 from 7-9pm, participants will meet at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes to review images, critique, and learn more compositional techniques.
