  • Telling Mansion has been the home of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Public Library for the past 60 years.
  • The Cuyahoga County Public Library put Telling Mansion up for sale in October without asking the community. Should 7 people make this important decision unilaterally?
  • This building belongs to the PUBLIC. Taxpayers bought it and have maintained it for 60 years.
  • This building is an Ohio Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

This building belongs to US, the PUBLIC, and our FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Who will it help if it is sold into private hands?

How will selling Telling Mansion help our community?

The public paid $1,500,000 to renovate Telling Mansion in 2002-2003 and was given an award in 2003 by the Cleveland Restoration Society for this renovation. It is up for sale for $895,000. Is this decision by the Library Board fiscally responsible?
