As a reformed apologist for the CH-UH Board Of Education and it's enablers, I say "Enough is enough, already!"
The simple Truth is that Reaching Heights/FutureHeights have become the sole "voice" of the community that has any meaningful access to the BOE.
Which would be OK, maybe, except they're all doing such a crappy, cynical, deceptive job of it.
The last five months or so with the joke/charade/farce/inept Lay Facilities Committee and their non-existent - but highly promised - "community engagement" have removed any doubt that they is them, and them is they.
And the standing Lay Finance Committee is made up of characters from the same mob.
- Who elected these "civic groups" to represent We The People?
- Who do they answer to?
It's time for accountability from the BOE.
And it's time for *answers* from the BOE, not faux committees and too-late surveys.
And it's time to get those other two organizations out of the goddam way.
