Do $ Amounts And Words No Longer Have Meaning?

No. His words are contradicted by the data. Not. Even. Close.

As per the CH-UH web site:

CH-UH School Board approves Facilities Bond Issue for November ballot
“Our community has come together and worked very hard for more than three years to create a facilities plan that will mean improved educational spaces, lower costs, increased community access, and the protection of our community assets,” said Board president Ron Register.  “This plan accomplished all these goals at the lowest possible cost. It is an opportunity that this community can’t afford to pass up.”
-----------
No, it's not "the lowest possible cost". His statement is absurd.

The local cost per student - paid from our property taxes  - is almost twice any other district's.

And the total $ per student are more than $10,000 higher than all but one district, and it's still more than $8,000 than that one.

Be sure to vote "NO" on the bond issue in November. We can get it right in 2014!!
