The CH city council lent these guys $50,000 of taxpayers' funds, and this is the thanks we get.

Council Committee of the Whole of the City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, met on the above date at 6:22 p.m.

Mayor Kelley stated, “Just real quickly I would like to take the opportunity to welcome Joey’s Restaurant from Chagrin Falls who had the fire maybe a year and a half to two years ago and they located another restaurant in Solon. They are coming here to Lee Road, specifically it will be in the Jimmy O’Neill’s space that has been vacant as Vice Mayor said for about 18 months. We are looking forward to them coming and adding to the ambience and the restaurant row areas in Cleveland Heights and hopefully they will be a fixture in the community. I’m sure once you get in the building after they take care of all the work that needs to be done to bring their restaurant here and take care of some violations you’ll be duly impressed. I know they are seriously working on making sure outdoor dining is part of what they want to have here in Cleveland Heights and hopefully maybe it will spur even a little bit more on Lee Road. I’m sure we’ll have a ribbon cutting or a pizza eating contest or something of that nature in the future. It’s great to have them here and we are looking forward to it. It will happen soon, sooner than later.”
