Heights Community Congress to Host 34th Home and Garden Tour

Tour features five Cleveland Heights homes and four gardens

Tickets are now on sale for The 34th Heights Heritage Home & Garden Tour, presented by . 

The features five Cleveland Heights homes, four gardens and a historic mansion, and will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18.

Tickets, which are $20 each and $25 the day of the tour, can be purchased online on the Heights Community Congress website or at several local businesses including on Coventry, , , and . Tickets can also be purchased at  in the Community Relations Department.

Proceeds from the tour benefit HCC, a fair housing agency and community organization based in Cleveland Heights that also supports and sponsors and other forums and initiatives. 

It is a self-guided tour, so those who are browsing the homes and gardens will be provided with a map and souvenir book, which includes the history of the sites and descriptions of the featured homes and gardens.

There will also be a tour preview party at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Beaumont Painter Mansion, 3240 Fairmount Blvd. The party will begin with a trolley tour of some of the featured homes and conclude with a cocktail party and live music. Tickets that include both the preview party and the Sunday tour are $100.

“We are very excited about the tour. It is always a pleasure for us to show some of the various homes that Cleveland Heights has to offer,” said Ruby Appling, fair housing director for HCC.
