Description:  We’ll get a short crash course on the
Cleveland Historical app (bring your smart phone or tablet if you have one followed by a presentation on Lee Road’s history:

Did you know that in 1922, Cedar Road streetcar service was extended to reach Lee, paving the way for the commercial district?  Have you ever wondered why so many of the commercial buildings on Lee Road are one story?  What does one Lee Road commercial building have to do with a game-hunting banker who was later jailed for “misapplying funds?”  Explore the district through historic photos and news articles, learn about some of the longtime Lee Road businesses and then we’ll take to the street, learn about its architecture and older businesses, and end with an optional beer/whiskey tasting at Parnell's for a small fee.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
