Every Woman Should Be a Mother? Crazytalk.

The myth that every woman should have a child lives on, even as child-killing mommas like Susan Smith prove it's not true. Could someone please introduce Diane Von Furstenberg to Gloria Steinem?

Katherine McAloon,  a 27 y/o Oregon mother of 2, recently, allegedly, treated a group of young girls a party where they were encouraged to use alcohol and marijuana. Factor all that in when you learn what iconic clothing designer Diane VonFurstenberg recently told CNN's Erin Burnett:

"I believe that all women should have children. I do. I think that our body is made for that and I think we all should have children and if we can't somehow, we should adopt them. I think women are made to have children and to be mothers. I also think that women have to have an identity outside the home."

Ms. Von Furstenberg, 65, was responding to statements made by Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum in a book he wrote in 2005.
