'Stamp Out' Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer Fundraising Event at Stamper's Bar on Friday, October 19, 2012 (9:00PM-1:00AM)

Fairview Park — Stamper’s Bar in Fairview Park is holding “Stamp Out Breast Cancer” on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 9:00PM to 1:00AM at 21750 Lorain Road. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure breast cancer fund.  The event is hosted by Think Pink 2013.

"Stamp Out Breast Cancer” features The Swizzle Stick Band,  NE Ohio's "Funky Motown Machine" who are graciously donating concert time for this fundraising cause.  Bring your dancing shoes!

Admission is free with voluntary donations being accepted at the door.  There will be a 50/50 raffle, as well as many other items raffled throughout the evening.  Be sure to try a pink beer or a special pink drink with part of the proceeds benefiting the cause.

Somewhere in the world, a woman dies from breast cancer every 69 seconds. That's a pretty startling statistic. No one should have to face this disease, so in order to create a future without breast cancer, Team Think Pink will walk in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure again next August  It's a 60-mile walk over the course of three days to raise funds for breast cancer research and community programs.  We walk because everyone deserves a lifetime.

Stamper's is located across from Fairview Shopping Plaza and Giant Eagle, providing excellent craft beer & seasonal comfort foods in a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Menus and beers change with the seasons.  Good food, good music and a great cause – don’t miss it!
