Heights Poetweet Project
Poetweet: a community project in collaboration with the Cleveland Heights Poet Laureate, to make poems that reflect, celebrate and share the experiences of living in our city.
Poetweet is a collaborative project for residents and former residents of Cleveland Heights and me, the current Cleveland Heights Poet Laureate, to develop a body of poems that reflect, celebrate and share the experiences of living in our community. At least once each month I'll announce a new topic and welcome tweets of your thoughts and experiences on that topic, to "#htspoetweet". I will use your tweets as inspirations for poems which will be posted here and on the Heights Arts website. Check out more on the project at http://heightswritesblog.blogspot.com/
Cleveland Heights is one of only a handful of cities nationwide that supports the (unpaid) position of Poet Laureate - a testament to its vibrancy as a home for the arts..
