Cleveland Heights Move to Amend is a citizens group that believe our democracy is being hijacked by Big Money, much of it from large corporations. Unlike the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v FEC, we don't believe that corporations are people and therefore don't have constitutional rights that were meant for real people only. We also don't believe that money=speech, which was part of the decision. We don't dislike corporations-they produce things we need or want and provide us jobs, but we don't believe they should have such an impact on our elections and drown out the voices of real people!
