Boys Charged In Robbery on Taylor: Police Blotter

The victim said that the boys pushed him and stole his cell phone.

Cleveland Heights arrested three boys and charged them in a robbery that occurred on the 13400 block of South Taylor Road at 2:30 p.m. June 14.

The victim told police he was walking when a group of boys knocked him to the ground, stole his cell phone and fled. Police arrested three boys from University Heights and charged them with robbery. They have also been charged in a cell phone theft, according to the Cleveland Heights Police Facebook page.

A caller reported that a teenager exposed himself to students at the at 3:26 p.m. June 14 and then left on a bike. Police tracked down a suspect and arrested and charged the 23-year-old Cleveland Heights man in the incident.

A woman had just finished working in her yard on the 3000 block of Fairmount Boulevard after 6 p.m. June 14 when she said she found a woman in her home. The intruder claimed she worked with Sauder Village, a historical district just outside of Archbold, OH. Police investigated and discovered the woman was lying. The Cleveland Heights Police Department reported the incident on its Facebook page and reminded residents to lock their doors while working outside to prevent crimes of opportunity.
