Driver hits Dave’s Market in car

March 20, 3:05 p.m. — A driver hit the corner of Dave’s Market at 3628 Mayfield Road. The driver said she blacked out and was transported to a hospital. The car also hit a bike rack and a shopping cart.

Resident reports home invasion

March 21, 3:42 a.m. — A resident on the 1100 block of Castleton Road reported that they heard glass breaking in their home. When they went downstairs they noted the front door kicked in, but police did not find evidence that the burglar entered the home.

Celebration of jail release ends in fight

March 21, 11:05 p.m. — Police said people were celebrating a man’s release from jail when the man who had just gotten released punched another man. He was arrested and charged with assault.
