CH-UH Flags at Half-Staff To Honor Students Killed, Injured at Chardon

Superintendent Douglas Heuer said Cleveland Heights-University Heights community members "stand strong with you" as the Chardon High School Community mourns those lost

Flags at each school in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City are at half-staff to honor students killed and injured in the Monday.

Two students have died and three others are still in the hospital, WKYC reports.

CH-UH Schools Superintendent Doug Heuer to CH-UH parents yesterday about precautions the schools take for these "unthinkable acts."

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Chardon community during this tragedy," Heuer said. "We're here for you, and we stand strong with you in honoring and remembering your classmates, friends and children."
