Woman charged with drunken driving after hit/skip

Saturday, Nov. 24, 10:06 p.m. — A hit/skip was reported at Mayfield and Cumberland roads. Police performed sobriety tests on the driver and report that her blood alcohol level was .158, nearly twice the legal limit. She was charged with drunken driving.

Church, bus targeted in spray paint vandalism

Saturday, Nov. 24, 3:58 p.m. — A local church and its bus were the targets of vandalism last week. The New Community Bible Fellowship at 3557 Washington Boulevard reported on Nov. 23 that someone spray painted a garage and a church bus on their property. The vandals also hit a car that was parked on a nearby street.

Woman reported by mother as drunk & disorderly

Sunday, Nov. 25, 3:53 a.m. —  A woman called police to report that her adult daughter was causing a disturbance in the vestibule of their apartment building on the 3800 block of Mayfield Road. When police arrived, they reported that the woman became irate with police and she was charged with disorderly conduct and voluntary intoxication.
