Cleveland Heights Man Gets 16 Years for Drug Crimes

Donte Booker, 45, convicted of attempted possession of 5 or more kilograms of cocaine

A Cleveland Heights man was sentenced to over 16 and a half years in prison for attempted possession of five or more kilograms of cocaine, the Cleveland branch of the FBI reports.

Donte Booker, 45, tried to steal a bag of what he thought was cocaine from a car at an East Cleveland hotel, but the drugs were planted by law enforcement agents, the FBI reports.

The Northern Ohio Law Enforcement Task Force and Cleveland Police assisted in this investigation.
