Cleveland Heights Man Indicted in Serial Bank Robberies

Kevin Wolcott charged with seven counts of bank robbery and blamed for $13,000 stolen

A Cleveland Heights man suspected of seven bank robberies has been indicted in federal court, NewsNet5 reports.

Kevin Wolcott, 40, was arrested Nov. 21 after Shaker Heights Police said they spotted him leaving PNC Bank on Chagrin Boulevard just after it was robbed.

Wolcott was charged with seven counts of bank robbery and one count of attempted bank robbery for banks in Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, University Heights, Cleveland and Lyndhurst.

The serial bank robber's odd trademark made him memorable: he wore white powder on his face in most of the robberies.
