Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: Car Break-In Suspect Arrested

On July 14, at least four cars were broken into on the 3500 and 3600 blocks of Bendemeer Road. One of the owners of a car called police and said there was a suspicious person in the area. Police found the suspect, a 23-year-old man from University Heights, and he had property from the cars and also other items from incidents in South Euclid and University Heights. Police arrested him and charged him with breaking and entering and receiving stolen property. 

Bar fight prompted by sports rivalry 

Two women were arrested for assault and disorderly conduct July 14 after fighting in Mario's Fish Bowl on Mayfield Road. One of the women was wearing Steelers gear. Another woman made comments about it, but then the fight got physical and police were called. The 26-year-old is from Willowick, and the 27-year-old from Mayfield Heights.

Man arrested for public indecency said he was just pulling weeds 

A 35-year-old man was arrested July 17 after someone called police and said he was urinating, or something else, on the side of his house on the 1300 block of Ardoon Street. When officers arrived, he claimed he was pulling weeds. Police arrested him for public indecency.
