Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: Car Stolen After Keys Found in House

Burglary and Grand Theft

  • A car and a laptop computer were reported stolen Feb. 4. The owner of the burglarized home on Cedar Road had left car keys inside the house. 
  • Three flatscreen TVs were reported stolen from an apartment on Ravine Drive Feb. 5.
  • Sinks were reported stolen from a vacant house on Euclid Heights Boulevard Feb. 5, but the copper plumbing was still intact.
  • Copper plumbing and a hot water tank were reported stolen from a vacant house on Cumberland Road Feb. 7.

Robbery

  • A  was robbed Feb. 7.  Police say it is still being investigated, and did not say whether a weapon was used.

  • A woman reported that two juvenile males threw rocks at her car on Meadowbrook Boulevard Feb. 4.
  • The owner of a house on Shelburne Road reported that the home was hit with paintballs Feb. 7.

Car Damage

  • The owner of a truck on Yellowstone Road reported Feb. 7 that someone threw a large icicle from a house through the windshield of the truck.
