Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: Teenager Fires Gun Near Cain Park

Caller heard three shots

A 16-year-old from Cleveland Heights fired a gun nearby around 7:45 Friday night.

Someone in the park called police after hearing the gun go off three times, according to police reports.

The teen and his friend were found near the 13300 block of Cedar Road. The 16-year-old had a gun on him and drugs. His friend was dropped home, but he was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.
