Police Blotter: Woman Accidentally Propositions Officer

The 44-year-old Cleveland Heights woman solicited the police officer when he was walking home from work

A Cleveland Heights police officer was walking home from work on Monday around 12:30 a.m. when he was stopped by a woman near Mayfield Road and Cleveland Heights Boulevard.

She asked him if he would give her a dollar. The officer, whose uniform was covered by a shirt, said no. Then she offered him sex in exchange for money, according to the police report. 

She realized that he was an officer only after he started to arrest her, and she tried to pull away from him.

The officer flagged down a fire department squad that happened to be driving by for assistance. The 44-year-old Cleveland Heights woman was arrested and charged with soliciting sex and resisting arrest.
