Man pulls knife over $3 debt

April 30, 6:32 p.m. — A caller said an intoxicated man pulled a knife on him at Lemongrass’ parking lot, 2179 Lee Road, in a dispute over $3. The victim gave him a dollar and he left. When officers arrived, they said they found the suspect with a knife and arrested him.

One cited after disturbance at Bayu Bar and Grill

May 3, 1:12 a.m. — Police responded to the Bayu Bar and Grill at 2573 Noble Road for a report of a disturbance. One citation was issued for disorderly conduct, and one person reported an assault.

Dancing man follows girls to school

May 3, 11:40 a.m. — Two students walking to school on Oak Road at around 9 a.m. reported that a male was listening to music and dancing on the sidewalk. He started following the girls as they turned onto Colonial toward Boulevard Elementary, but did not approach them. They reported the incident to their principal.

Juveniles reported fighting at Denison Park

May 4, 8:06 p.m. — Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported a large group of juveniles fighting on the basketball courts at Denison Park, 1015 Quarry Drive. Police arrested two juvenile females and charged them with simple assault.
