Fire Department Wins Award From Cleveland Clinic

The Cleveland Heights Fire Department won the Excellence in Professional Standards Award.

Cleveland Heights Fire Department was honored with the Excellence in Professional Standards Award by Cleveland Clinic at the 2013 EMS Awards for life saving measures performed on a 3-month old infant in cardiac arrest.

Due to their CPR and Advanced Life Support (ALS) efforts they were able to achieve a normal heart rate and pulse by the time the infant was transferred to the hospital.
