Man, 64, Charged With Attempted Burglary: Police Blotter

The East Cleveland resident tried to force his way into at least two homes in Cleveland Heights, according to police.

A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted burglary after said he tried to force his way into at least two homes in Cleveland Heights.

A woman called police at 12:50 p.m. May 15 and said the suspect, Ralph Garner, of East Cleveland, said he needed to come into her home on the 1400 block of Vandemar Street and made up a reason. The woman told him she would not let him in, and he tried to force his way into her home.

A woman reported that a group of kids threw a large rock at her and ran away near Elbon and Monticello on May 11.

A caller reported at 9:13 a.m. May 15 that someone threw a brick through the front window of a building on the 1600 block of Lee Road.
