Man Accused Of Flashing A Knife, Himself During Robbery

The victim said Tyrone Johnson also banged on his chest as he stole two cell phones from the Dollar General

A man is accused of flashing both a knife and himself while stealing two cell phones from the Dollar General in Cleveland Heights.

On Feb. 6, a store employee told Tyrone Johnson that the Dollar General was closing.

Johnson then pocketed two cell phones and walked out of the store.

When she tried to stop him, Johnson pulled down his pants, showed her his genitalia, pullled out a pocket knife and banged on his chest, according to Cleveland Height Police Department.

Johnson ran away but Cleveland Police found him nearby. He had two cell phones on him but no knife.

The store employee then identified Johnson as the man who robbed her, police said.

Johnson was arrested and charged with a count of robbery.
