Man Confronts Couple, Fires Gun

No one was hurt during a bizarre confrontation between a couple and a man who fired the gun, according to Cleveland Heights Police.

A bizarre confrontation on Avondale Avenue on July 28 led to a gunshot being fired, according to Cleveland Heights Police.

A man was escorting his intoxicated wife home when a man the husband did not recognize came up and asked to speak with the wife, according to the police report.

This led to an argument, and the man, described as between the ages of 30 and 40 and wearing a white T-shirt, pulled out a gun and fired on shot.

The bullet hit the ground and no one was hurt. The man fled the area. 

The wife told police she does not know the man. He remains at large.
