Man Robbed at Gunpoint at Coventry Food Mart

The victim, a 29-year-old from Richmond Heights, chased the suspect to Cleveland.

A 29-year-old from Richmond Heights said he was pulling into the lot around 2:54 p.m. April 26 when someone got into his car and robbed him at gunpoint The suspect stole money, jumped out of the victim’s car and got into another car. The Richmond Heights resident followed the suspect to Cleveland but lost him. are still investigating.

Men attempt to set Cain Park bench on fire

Two men tried to set a park bench on Fire in around 7:30 p.m. April 27. Police found leaves and grass on fire on the bench, but it never caught.

Teens charged with inducing panic

Police charged a group of teens from Cleveland Heights with inducing panic after at least one teen revealed what looked like a firearm near the 3300 block of Superior Park Drive, prompting a concerned resident to call police. The weapon was actually a BB gun. The teens — three 15-year-olds and two 17-year-olds, were also charged with criminal trespass.
