Couple robbed on Berkeley

April 18, 11:34 p.m. — A couple reported that three men had approached them on the 3300 block of Berkeley Road and one began strangling the man until he blacked out. The woman screamed for help, and the suspect went throught that man's pockets, took his cash and fled toward Cain Park.

Shots fired after dance at Civic

April 19, 11:44 p.m. — Shots were fired as a dance was letting out at the Civic Conference and Event Center on the 3100 block of Mayfield Road. Police say about 400 people were outside and several fights started between dozens of people. An officer counted four gunshots. Two people were arrested.

Officer chases man on foot

April 21, 1:28 p.m. — An officer was checking the 1400 block of Westover Road on a report of suspicious people and spotted a man walking down the street who matched the description. When the man saw the officer, he changed his course of direction and the officer pulled his car over. The man then ran through a back yard and the officer chased him and arrested him for tresspassing and obstruction of justice.
