Man Who Left ID While Robbing Gas Station Strikes Again

Rodney L. Peterson is now wanted for two Cleveland Heights robberies.

Rodney L. Peterson, 25, of South Euclid, is now also accused of robbing the on the 1900 block of Lee Road just before midnight Aug. 26. Police said that just like last time, Peterson broke a beer bottle, threatened the employee with it and stole cash from the register and a few packs of cigarettes.

Police said surveillance cameras helped them identify the suspect. Police have a warrant out for his arrest for aggravated robbery charges.

Police said Peterson also robbed the BP Gas Station on the corner of Mayfield and Warrensville Center roads at about 9 p.m. Aug. 18. When police arrived to investigate, they found his ID at the scene.
