McDonald's Customer Not Lovin' It: Threatens to 'Shoot Up' Store Over Botched Order

Here are this week's most bizarre police calls, reports and charges. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

He takes his McDonald's seriously — A patron at the McDonald's on West 117th Street in Lakewood became irate Sept. 20 over a botched order.

A police report did not indicate how an employee messed up the order, but it was enough for the man to say he would "shoot up" the restaurant. Workers did not take his threat seriously, but wanted police to check the area.

Breaking in for $30 — A 60-year-old Cleveland Heights man was arrested for breaking in and vandalizing multiple businesses in the Cedar-Lee district.

Police said Michael Moore smashed a window at The Stone Oven at 4:30 a.m. Aug 2 to get to the register. He got away with a grand total of $30.

Moore is also accused of breaking into The Wine Spot. Police are investigating his involvement in seven other incidents. He is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail on two $10,000 bonds.

Immediate admission — Solon Police did not need to search long for the person who vandalized a 21-year-old man's vehicle.

His car was damaged about 11 p.m. Sept. 20 at Nestle on Harper Road. He showed police a text message from his girlfriend, who detailed her intentions to cause damage. The police report indicates scratches all over his 2007 Chevy Impala estimated at $1,000.

When an officer called her, the girlfriend immediately said she didn't cause the scratches or punctured tires — before  she was asked.

What's that noise? — Employees at a Strongsville BP gas station on Royalton Road told police they were distracted on Sept. 23 by a loud noise coming from the restroom.

A man had been in there for a while, seemingly yelling and screaming at himself. He calmed down by the time police arrived.

He was not intoxicated, but was involved in a heated cell-phone argument.
