Men Caught Trying To Burglarize Two Homes On One Night

Two men face burglary charges after Cleveland Heights Police say they tried to burglarize two homes on the same night.

Cleveland Heights Police began searching for two men after they tried to burglarize a house on Cleveland Heights Boulevard on June 6. A man sitting in his living room said he heard a loud banging on his back door and went to check it out. he saw two men standing at the door trying to get in, and they ran away when he saw them, according to the police report.

Police caught up with the men inside an apartment near the 2700 block of Noble Road. Police said the door of the apartment showed evidence that the men had broken in. 

One of the men was hiding under a sheet when police found him, according to the police report.

The men are charged with burglary and attempted burglary, according to police.
